No, it’s NOT for sale. The town’s dogs turned out in their freshly washed, brushed (and we think polished noses) best this morning for the Pet Show. Thanks as always to P2 Kennels and Peninsula Veterinary Clinic who sponsor the event, for pictures, click here.

Wow ! The Portaferry 10K really is growing at an amazing rate. A big thanks to everyone who packed the square to spur the runners on, (especially the local ones) and to the PSNI for all their help along the route. With the sun finally shining on the Square a great night of fun was had by all, with the Crazy Hair Do and Gameshow Marathon also taking place.

The railway is based on part of the old Main Line of the Belfast and County Down Railway which closed back in Jan 1950. A fun afternoon trip to Inch Abbey and the whistle of stream trains awaits visitors over the summer months, click here to visit their site.

Congratulations to this years winner Katy Smyth and to runners up Willow Edgar (2nd place) and Katie Hanna (3rd Place).
As always a very tough decision for the judges to make and we’d like to thank all the families who took part and who make the Little Flower one of the Gala’s Biggest Draws year after year and of course our Sponsor, Portaferry Credit Union.
