Mary has led the Gala Team always there behind the scene,<\/span><\/p>\n

Never the one to be standing out,<\/span><\/span> She\u2019d never moan and seldom shout<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mary knew what needed done and was always there for everyone<\/span><\/p>\n

She never ever made a fuss and was an inspiration to the rest of us<\/span><\/p>\n

She led the team for ten long years, she proved her worth she was so strong<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala she built up each year, a new show there, a new act here and with Mary leading we had nothing to fear<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala runs for seven days and has changed for the good in many ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mary was always thinking ahead, next year could be better she often said, we\u2019d answer \u2018aye\u2019 and shake our heads<\/span><\/p>\n

Mary started Galaween and what an even this has been<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She took it to Exploris park and turned the dark into a glow-park<\/span><\/p>\n

She knew this was the perfect site and as usual she was right!<\/span><\/p>\n

To see those kids was sheer delight as they <\/span><\/p>\n

watched the fireworks light up the night<\/span><\/p>\n

Christmas was next in her head and for this the plans she laid<\/span><\/p>\n

The tree, the lights and Santa\u2019s place, she\u2019d work away at such a pace<\/span><\/p>\n

She could have won the ten mile race.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mary has now stepped down and given someone else the crown<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala will always be in your debt for you\u2019ve been a leader we\u2019ll never forget<\/span><\/p>\n

We wish you all the very best as you now enjoy your well earned rest.<\/span><\/p>\n
