There will be a meeting on Wednesday the 30th of September at 7.30pm, in the Market House  Portaferry, to discuss the future of Portaferry Gala.
As regular visitors to the site will know, many of the present committee are standing down this year and despite a number of appeals for new members to replace them, this hasn’t happened.
The remaining members simply can’t continue to run the Gala on their own. If you would like to join, or have suggestions which may help, please come along.
