Ards Borough Council met tonight, Wed 25th, and have decided to postpone the decision on closing Exploris for a further two months. This gives some breathing space to the groups working to save the Northern Ireland Aquarium.

Exploris is one of the major attractions to Portaferry and is one of the reasons why it is so busy in the summer, if it went it would mean a big drop in trade for other local business that rely on the tourists that Exploris draws in.
