The Square was packed on Monday afternoon for the 50th Cute Kiddies and Bonnie Babies. A really lovely afternoon with an amazing number of entries, thanks to all who came along, pictures are now online, click here to see them.

‘The Trains Don’t Stop Here Anymore’
Robert JE Simpson presents a collection of images centred around abandoned railways of Northern Ireland. These are on show at the Visitor Information Centre here in Portaferry.
Also on at the VIC this afternoon, Clayrazy Workshop and Glitter Tattoos.
A big thank you to all the local school children who designed birthday cards for the Gala’s 50th. Their cards are on display in Portaferry Visitor Information Centre.

Portaferry Gala, Sails and Sounds and Portaferry Triathlon teamed up at Portaferry Sailing Club to launch their events for this year. We hope to welcome thousands of visitors to the town across these events and as always, keep an eye on our site for more details.
