A sunny afternoon in the square and the Bonny Babies and Cute Kiddies is well underway…
Due to a record number of visitors to the site (800+) over the last 24 hours, the website “fell over”, updates for Tuesdays events will appear as the day goes on.
Another packed night in the Square and another Flower of the County Down is picked to lead the Gala Float Parade on Friday night. This year winner is Nicole MaGee, pictured here with runners up Broke McClean, placed 2nd and Chole Coffey, placed 3rd.
Well done to Speed 3 – this years paper boat race winner. There was a great turnout on the Shore, thanks to everyone who came along and enjoyed the Music, Entertainment and of course the race.

Portaferry Gala Committee would like to apologise for the lack of “Dolly and Cash” at the Tribute Concert last night. The duo were injured in a car crash on Saturday afternoon and unable to attend the event. Unfortunately we were not informed of this and were totally unaware the concert would not be taking place.
We sincerely thank those who attended for their understanding and patience and hope you enjoyed the evening.
Well done to Exit 23 – who’ll be appearing on the Gala Stage Float night.
