Well, it had to happen sometime and this year it did. After three weeks of non stop sunshine, it rained on Gala Sunday, so events moved to the community centre…well all except the paper boat race, of course…. For pictures, click here.

What a great first night of Portaferry Gala.  Abba tribute band The Bjorn Identity had Portaferry partying.  Great to see the Square filled and everyone enjoying themselves and singing along. For pictures from Saturday, please click here.

We are a Festival, based in Portaferry, Co.Down, in Northern Ireland. A family friendly event, running every July since 1967, we have a week long programme, which includes something for everyone, of all ages.
