Keep an eye out for this year’s Gala Programme, music and fun all week long here in Portaferry. This year’s cover was designed by Caragh Craft, age 14, a pupil at St Columba’s, Portaferry.

Galafest 2018 is on the way………

Portaferry Gala is looking for an individual to volunteer for the post of funding officer, whist this year’s funding is in place, the role will involve planning and applying for next year’s Gala. Anyone interested in this role, please email admin@portaferrytown.com.

Dig out your flares, jump suits and white platform boots, as we prepare to party on the Square, Saturday July the 14th. Join us for an evening with The Bjorn Identity. Mark the date in your diary to come along and join in the fun as we get Galafest 18 underway.

Mon 7th May, Kids Mini Beasts Nature Trail, Nugent’s Wood, 2-4pm.
Look out for the mini-beasts that make the area home and find out about the flora and fauna. £2.50 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets available from Portaferry VIC, booking essential.
